Trend Micro Anti-Spyware comes built-in with a feature called CWShredder, which removes many variants of the CoolWebSearch spyware, a well-known browser hijacker.

To see if you have such spyware on your machine and to try removing it, click the "CWShredder" button. A scan will be performed for all variants (as of June 16, 2005, the number is 53). Follow the prompts to remove variants if needed / desired.
