
Trend Micro Anti-Spyware
Scan System on Windows Startup
SUMMARY: Ask Trend Micro Anti-Spyware to scan for malware every time you boot your machine.
Paranoid about spyware and adware? Trend Micro Anti-Spyware can be configured to perform a Quick Scan every time you restart your system. According to the documentation, a Quick Scan searches your memory, registry, browser cache directories, temporary files, and certain system directories for malware.
To enable this Quick Scan:
1. From Trend Micro Anti-Spyware, click the "Options" button.
2. An "Options" dialog box will appear. Click the "+" next to "Scheduled Options" to expand the tree.
3. Click the red "X" next to "Perform a Quick Scan on Windows Startup" to change it to a green checkmark, enabling this option.
4. Click "OK" to save your changes.
