Trend Micro Anti-Spyware - Play Sounds When Spyware is Found

SUMMARY: Hear an alert whenever Trend Micro Anti-Spyware finds pests on your machine.

By default, when Trend Micro Anti-Spyware finds spyware, adware, or other malware during a scan, it displays the status on the screen but does not make a sound. However, there may be instances where you wish sounds to be heard whenever malware is found. For example, you may start a scan, leave the room (since scans can take a while), and only want to be notified if potential threats have been found. To make this change:

1. From Trend Micro Anti-Spyware, click the "Options" button.

2. An "Options" dialog box will appear. Click the "+" next to "Current Sound Scheme" to expand the tree.

3. Check the desired sound scheme, such as "Pinball" or "Tomcat".

4. Click "OK" to save your changes.
