Trend Micro Anti-Spyware
Restore Deleted Items
SUMMARY: Accidentally remove a suspicious piece of software on your computer and need to re-enable it?
When Trend Micro Anti-Spyware removes potentially malicious items from your computer, whether or not through scans or its Venus Spy Trap mechanism, backups are kept. This way, if you later find out the suspicious programs were legitimate after all, you can restore them back to your computer. To do so:
1. Click "Restore" from Trend Micro Anti-Spyware's main window.
2. A list of previously-disabled malicious activity is shown.
* Click an item then the "View" button to get more information.
* To permanently delete one of the backup items, click the item then the "Delete" button.
* To restore an item to your system, click the item then the "Restore" button.
Return to the Trend Micro Anti-Spyware page.
