Windows Vista - Windows Media Center - Hide Games or Other Applications

SUMMARY: Prevent games or other applications from appearing inside Windows Media Center.

By default, Windows Media Center in Windows Vista comes with several games available via the Program Library such as Spider Solitaire. Depending on your configuration, you may have other applications available in Media Center such as sound card configuration software or weather forecast displays.

If for any reason you would like to hide some or all of these applications, do the following:

1. Select "Tasks" - "settings".

2. When the "settings" page appears, click "General".

3. When the "settings GENERAL" page appears, click "Program Library Options".

4. When the "settings PROGRAM LIBRARY OPTIONS" page appears, click the "Edit Program Library" button.

5. When the "settings EDIT PROGRAM LIBRARY" page appears, check or uncheck applications to show or hide them in Windows Media Center.
