Windows Vista - Windows Media Center - High Contrast Color Schemes

SUMMARY: Configure Windows Media Center to use a high contrast color scheme that may be easier to read.

If you find the text in Windows Media Center in Windows Vista difficult to read when the computer is connected to a television or other output device, there are options to change the color scheme to high contrast black or white.


1. Select "Tasks" - "settings".

2. When the "settings" page appears, click "General".

3. When the "settings GENERAL" page appears, click "Visual and Sound Effects".


4. When the "settings VISUAL AND SOUND EFFECTS" page appears, underneath "Color scheme", click either the "High contrast white" or "High contrast black" color scheme as desired.

5. Click "Save" to store your settings.
