VSO Image Resizer is a freeware (for personal use) image resizing application for Windows. This application can help resize images including photos taken from digital cameras so they can be placed on web pages, sent via electronic mail, or distributed via CDs, DVDs, or other portable media.
Besides resizing images with a choice of filtering algorithms, the software also allows you to add image or text watermarks, plus you can add rectangular borders. Three color effects are supported - invert colors, sepia tone, or grayscale conversion. The software can keep EXIF / XMP information when converting .JPEG images.
Other options include adjusting the output filenames (you can add the date, profile, resolution, or an auto-incrementing number), copying converted filenames to the clipboard, and sorting files. Interface languages include Chinese, French, and Spanish.
