Winamp 2 - Browse the Web from within Winamp

SUMMARY: You don't need to open Internet Explorer to view a web page when running Winamp.

(Note that this tip is for an unsupported version of Winamp, version 2. For help on Winamp 5, visit Winamp 5 Help and Tips).

Who needs to open Internet Explorer when you're running Winamp? If you'd like to browse the web, just press ALT-T to open a miniature browser. Granted, it's not a full-featured replacement of Internet Explorer, but if you just want to quickly search for an artist's homepage or to check the latest weather, this mini-browser may be all you need.

Press the "print" button on your browser or select "File" - "Print" to print this tip. Then, return to Winamp 2 - Browse the Web from within Winamp
