Winamp 5 - Remove Explorer Shell Extensions

Winamp 5 installs various shell extensions to Windows Explorer, allowing you to right-click multimedia files to play or enqueue them, or to add files to Winamp 5's bookmarks list. If you'd rather clean up the context menu by disabling these extensions, do the following:

1. Right-click on Winamp 5's title bar, choosing "Options" then "Preferences".
2. When the "Winamp Preferences" dialog box appears, click "File Types" under "General Preferences".
3. Uncheck "Show Winamp in folder context menus in Windows Explorer".
4. Click "Close" to close the preferences dialog box.

Press the "print" button on your browser or select "File" - "Print" to print this tip. Then, return to Winamp 5 - Remove Explorer Shell Extensions
