Winamp 5 - Visual Tweaks
Keep the Songticker / Song Name from Scrolling
SUMMARY: Save CPU time and remove annoying animations by keeping the song name from scrolling in Winamp 5.
Normally, if a song or multimedia filename is too big to display in Winamp 5's filename area, it will continuously scroll through the song name so you can read the full information. While some may find this feature useful, others find this constant animation annoying and a waste of CPU time. To disable the songticker / song name scrolling:
If you are using Winamp 5's Classic Skin: Right-click on the song/title name and choose "Autoscroll songname" from the pop-up menu.
If you are using Winamp 5's Modern Skin: Choose "Options", "Winamp Modern", "Songticker", "Disable Songticker Scrolling".
Return to the Winamp 5 - Visual Tweaks page.
