Winamp 5 - Visual Tweaks
Enable / Disable Skinned Font for Title Display
SUMMARY: Toggle the use of bitmapped fonts for song titles when using classic Winamp 5 skins.
If you are using a classic skin in Winamp 5, you can enable or disable the use of a skinned font, as opposed to a normal system font, when displaying song and multimedia file titles in the main Winamp 5 window.
Advantage:
1. Skinned fonts may look nicer than normal system fonts.
Disadvantages:
1. May use slightly more CPU time to render the font.
2. Does not support international characters in titles.
To make the change:
1. Right-click on the Winamp 5 title bar, choosing "Options" - "Preferences".
2. When the "Winamp Preferences" dialog box appears, click "Classic Skins" underneath "Skins".
3. In the right pane, select tab "Classic Skin Options".
4. Check or uncheck "Use skinned font for main window title display (no international title support)" as desired.
5. Press "Close" to close the "Winamp Preferences" dialog box.
Return to the Winamp 5 - Visual Tweaks page.
