Optimize for Wider Displays
SUMMARY: Optimize video playback in Winamp 5 for non 4:3 displays.
If you have a laptop or monitor with an extra-wide display (the width is much larger than the height so the aspect ratio is greater than 4:3), you may wish to optimize Winamp 5's multimedia playback to handle the wide screen.
1. Right-click on the Winamp 5 title bar, choosing "Options" - "Preferences".
2. When the "Preferences" dialog appears, click "Video" underneath "General Preferences".
3. Underneath "Advanced Video Options", check "My screen has an aspect ratio of".
4. Replace "4" and "3" with your correct screen aspect ratio.
5. Click "Close" to close the dialog box.
Return to the Winamp 5 - Visual Tweaks page.
