Web Development - Fonts - Using Unique Fonts in a Web Page

If you want to use a specific font in your web document for headlines (not for a lot of body text), consider entering the text with your desired font into a graphics program and saving the text as an image. Most people do not have a lot of fonts on their system, and it is highly unlikely someone will have every font that you have on your computer.

Save the graphic you create in your graphics program as a GIF89 with a transparent background so you can use the text on different colored textures or background colors. The more you can compress the graphic/text, the better.
