Do you like using obscure fonts in a webpage? If you have your reasons (and I'm sure you do), then you probably run into one big problem. Most users don't have your fonts on their systems, and their browsers render the page incorrectly. While you can offer your users downloadable fonts, newer browsers, such as Netscape 4.x and above and Internet Explorer 4.x allow webmasters to embed fonts in a webpage. This way, when the webpage is being sent to the user, the fonts are also sent to the user. |
