Web Development - Tables Potential Problems - Colored Table BGround There is a potential problem if you use colored table backgrounds. Many older browsers, including some versions of Netscape, do not support table backgrounds. Thus, if you have a white page with a black table and white text on the table, to many people, the table will be white and the text will be invisible.
