Display Whois Information for Multiple Domains and Export to HTML

SUMMARY: Use WhoisThisDomain to display Whois information for multiple domains and export summary information to text or HTML files.

Unix's whois command queries remote databases to determine the owner of an IP address or domain. This may contain administrative and technical contacts, including a business address and phone number.

While Windows XP users can download a DOS substitute for the whois command, if you'd rather display the information in a window, consider "WhoisThisDomain" from NirSoft. After running the software you're asked to enter a list of domains to check. Afterwards Whois servers are contacted and the information is displayed.

Other features include saving Whois information to a text file and exporting summary Whois information to a HTML webpage. This can be useful if you manage multiple domains and need to see at a glance when they need to be renewed.

WhoisThisDomain supports Windows 98 through Windows 7, and comes as a ZIP file - just unpack the file into a new directory and run whoistd.exe - no installation is necessary.
