Windows Media Player 12
Listen to Online Radio
SUMMARY: Listen to the Blues, Country, Soft Rock, Talk Radio, and more from Windows Media Player 12.
Tired of your CD and MP3 collections, and looking for more variety of music? Instead of downloading third-party applications or visiting music websites, you can listen to radio stations directly from Windows Media Player 12.
1. In the "Library" view, either press Alt+V, then select "Online Stores" - "Media Guide", or click the "Media Guide" button at the bottom-left of the player. If that button does not show "Media Guide", click the down-pointed arrow to open a popup menu and select "Media Guide" from there.
2. Though this interface is subject to change, near the top of the media guide you should see a link for "Internet Radio" - click it.
3. The Internet Radio page should appear. Near the right side of the page, next to "Stream speed", click the "High" or "Low" link depending on your bandwidth.
4. Now navigate the page to choose your desired station. You can view top stations, editor's picks, and stations by genre. Click the station link to begin playing music.
Return to the Windows Media Player 12 page.
