September 12, 2007: Steal Microsoft Office

Ok, not really... but it is a cheaper price.   Microsoft has announced a program where "students who are actively enrolled at educational institutions and have a valid e-mail address from the institution" can purchase a copy of Microsoft Office Ultimate 2007 for $59.95 US. September 11, 2007: Microsoft Updates

Microsoft released one Critical and three Important security updates today. These affect Windows XP through Vista, Windows Services for UNIX, the Subsystem for UNIX-based Applications (SUA), and several versions of Visual Studio and MSN Messenger. Full technical information can be found on Microsoft TechNet.   Updates can be retrieved via Microsoft Update.
