Adjust Volume Using the Keyboard

SUMMARY: Make your music files louder or softer without using the operating system's Volume Control utility.


 

When playing music or sound files with Windows Media Player 10, you can adjust the sound volume just by using the keyboard. The following shortcuts can raise, lower, or mute the currently playing sound:

Up - F10
Down - F9
Mute - F8
