Windows Media Player 10 Audio Tweaks - SRS Wow Effects

SUMMARY: Add bass and 3D sound effects to music played in Windows Media Player 10.

True Windows Media Player 10-using audiophiles may wish to experiment with a media player enhancement called SRS WOW. This feature claims to provide deeper sounds and a wider 3D sound experience (for more information on what I mean visit http://mediaplayer.srswowcast.com/indexc.asp.

1. Click the "Now Playing" tab.

2. Right-click on the Windows Media Player 10 title bar, choosing "View" - "Enhancements" - "SRS WOW Effects".

3. A panel should appear at the bottom of the "Now Playing" tab. Click "Turn on". From here you can:

* Move the "TruBass" slider to the right or left to enhance or deflate the bass sound.

* Move the "WOW Effect" to the left or right to adjust the SRS WOW effect on the played music.

* To the right of the "Turn On/Off" link you can click to choose the types of speakers you are using. This helps match the SRS WOW technology to your current audio setup.
