Windows Sidebar is a vertical bar on the Windows Vista desktop that displays visual objects called "gadgets". Some Windows Sidebar gadgets can communicate over the Internet, displaying updated weather, feeds from various news sources (such as announcements of new tips from MalekTips), items available for purchase on eBay, and more.
