Wireless Internet

Check your Library

SUMMARY: Your local library may offer a free wi-fi hotspot.

If you are looking for free wireless Internet, one place you should check is your local library, or perhaps the main branch of your local library system. Many libraries have installed free Wi-Fi access, though note that content accessible over Wi-Fi may be filtered at some institutions. Depending on the library, you may be required to have a library card and you may have to sign up for access times in advance if there is heavy demand.
