| Access May Extend Outside of a Wi-Fi Hotspot SUMMARY: Wireless Internet access may not end at a site's walls or at a street corner. Depending on how a Wi-Fi Hotspot is configured, you may be able to access the Internet via Wi-Fi while slightly outside of the main HotSpot area. For example, if a park or library has free wireless connectivity for the community, you may be able to walk outside of the library or a block or two away from the park and still have coverage. Naturally, the farther away you travel from the main HotSpot, the weaker your connectivity will be.
