Windows Media Player 9
Stop Hiding the Menu Bar
SUMMARY: Prevent Windows Media Player 9 from automatically hiding the menu bar when not in use.
By default, Windows Media Player 9 will hide the menu bar when not in use. While this may result in a "cooler" looking Media Player, if you frequently have to change options, getting to the invisible menu bar may prove cumbersome. If you like things "the old way", here's how to get your menu bar back.
1. Open up Windows Media Player 9.
2. Press CONTROL-M. If you want to later hide the menu bar, press CONTROL-SHIFT-M.
Return to the Windows Media Player 9 page.
