If you don't like the way Windows Media Player 9 looks, you can download free skins from the Internet. Note that Windows Media Player 9 must be in "Skin Mode" to take advantage of these visual customizations (to access "Skin Mode" press CONTROL-2; press CONTROL-1 to re-show the full controls).

To download free skins from the Internet:

1. From Windows Media Player 9, select "Tools", "Download", then "Skins".

2. Your web browser will load with a Skins page. From here you can download from a large selection of skins, or visit other websites offering skins.

3. To download a skin, just click the link and follow the on-screen prompts.

4. Click "View Now" when prompted to view the skin.
