Windows Media Player 9
Check for Updates
SUMMARY: Have Windows Media Player 9 check for software updates more or less frequently.
By default, Windows Media Player will check for updates over the Internet. This way you can be assured you have the latest multimedia technology. If you'd like to check for updates more or less often, open Windows Media Player, choose "Tools" then "Options". When the "Options" multi-tabbed dialog box appears, underneath "Check for updates", choose how often you want Windows Media Player to see if upgrades and bug fixes are available. When done, press "OK" to close the "Options" dialog box.
