Disable Animated Text
Summary: Keep your text from blinking, lighting up, and sparkling.
Depending on your office, you may receive Word 2003 documents from those who like the text animation features a little too well. While occasional use of animated text can draw attention to a document when read onscreen, overuse can become very annoying.
Instead of asking people to not use this feature so much, just turn it off and read Word 2003 documents onscreen that look closer to what they will look like on paper.
1. Click the "Tools" menu, choosing "Options".
2. When the "Options" multi-tabbed dialog box appears, click the "View" tab.
3. Uncheck "Animated text".
4. Click "OK" to close the dialog box.
