Some people with older e-mail readers cannot accept file attachments sent the normal way. This 'normal' way is to use MIME file attachments, but some people require attachments in 'UUencode' format. To UUencode ZIP files so they can be transferred to people who can not accept MIME attachments, first open the file with WinZip. Then, click the "Actions" menu, selecting "UUencode." Or, press SHIFT+U.
Return to the WinZip page.
