WinZip 12.x - Remember More or Fewer Files in 'File' Menu

SUMMARY: Remember the last 9 archives loaded into WinZip, or remember only one for privacy.

WinZip's "File" menu remembers the last few archives you have opened. This way, you can navigate amongst your most recently used files with just a few keystrokes or mouse clicks. WinZip can be configured to remember up to 9 ZIP files, or you can remember only one file for privacy reasons.

1. From the Classic interface, choose "Options" - "Configuration".

2. On the "Configuration" multi-tabbed dialog box that follows, select the "Miscellaneous" tab.

3. Next to "Number of files in recent file list", enter the value of your choosing - from one to nine.

4. Click "OK" to close the dialog box.

Return to the WinZip page.
