| WinZip 10.x - Toggle Displaying ZIP Comments SUMMARY: Toggle whether or not WinZip automatically displays comments found inside some ZIP files.
Though the practice is not as popular as before, some ZIP files contain comments that may contain text such as where the file was downloaded, a greeting to the user, etc. WinZip can be configured to display these comments whenever found inside ZIP files or to ignore them. To toggle this behavior:
1. From the Classic interface, click "Options" then "Configuration".
2. When the Configuration multi-tabbed dialog box appears, click the "Miscellaneous" tab.
3. Check or uncheck "Show comments when opening ZIP files" as desired.
4. Press "OK" to close the dialog box.
