WinZip - WinZip 10.x - Toggle Displaying ZIP Comments

Though the practice is not as popular as before, some ZIP files contain comments that may contain text such as where the file was downloaded, a greeting to the user, etc. WinZip can be configured to display these comments whenever found inside ZIP files or to ignore them. To toggle this behavior:

1. From the Classic interface, click "Options" then "Configuration".

2. When the Configuration multi-tabbed dialog box appears, click the "Miscellaneous" tab.

3. Check or uncheck "Show comments when opening ZIP files" as desired.

4. Press "OK" to close the dialog box.
