WinZip 12.x - Disable the WinZip Watermark in the Files Display

SUMMARY: In Windows Vista and XP, WinZip displays an icon watermark. This configuration tweak disables it.

Windows XP and Windows Vista users of WinZip may notice a watermarked WinZip icon at the bottom right of the window when displaying files. Though some find this watermark appealing, others may find it irritating when managing ZIP archives and want it disabled.

1. In the Classic interface, click the "Options" menu, choosing "Configuration."

2. Underneath "General" uncheck "Watermark".

3. Click "OK" to close the dialog box.
