WinZip 10.x - Disable the WinZip Watermark in the Files Display SUMMARY: On Windows XP, WinZip displays a watermark of its icon when displaying files. This configuration tweak can disable it.
Windows XP users of WinZip may notice a watermarked WinZip icon when displaying files. Though some find this watermark appealing, others may find it irritating when managing ZIP archives and want it disabled.
1. From the Classic menu choose "Options" - "Configuration".
2. When the "Configuration" multi-tabbed dialog box appears, click the "View" tab.
3. Underneath "General" uncheck "Watermark".
4. Click "OK" to close the dialog box.
