WinZip - WinZip 10.x - Testing ZIP Files

Having problems unzipping a file? If a couple of files inside a ZIP file show errors when loaded and extracted from WinZip, you may wish to see if the entire file is corrupt or if a few files can be saved.

From WinZip's Classic interface, select "Actions" - "Test" or press SHIFT-T. WinZip will display a status report of the ZIP file in general and details about each compressed file. Sometimes a corrupt ZIP will still have a couple of recoverable files inside, so don't give up! Also, many utilities are available to help repair corrupted ZIP files.

Press the "print" button on your browser or select "File" - "Print" to print this tip. Then, return to WinZip - WinZip 10.x - Testing ZIP Files
