WinZip 12.x - Remember a ZIP File on the Desktop

SUMMARY: Quickly place a shortcut to an important zip file on your desktop.

Have you opened a ZIP file inside WinZip located deep inside a subdirectory tree and realize you need to access the file later?

Instead of trying to remember where you placed the file or using Explorer's "Find" tool, create a shortcut to the file on the Desktop.

Just open a ZIP file from WinZip, access the "File" menu, and then click "Create Shortcut".
