WinZip 10.x - Delete a File from a ZIP Archive

SUMMARY: Remove a particular file from a ZIP archive in WinZip. You don't need to manually create a new archive to do so.

Maintaining ZIP archives with WinZip and notice an archive with a file that doesn't need to be there? It's easy to remove files from ZIP archives.

1. Open the ZIP archive containing the file you wish to remove.

2. Highlight the file(s) and select "Actions" - "Delete" or press SHIFT+M.

3. A "Delete" dialog box will appear. Confirm whether you wish to remove all files and folders in the archive or the selected files and folders. Or, you can type in the files you wish to remove.

4. Press "Delete" to remove the file(s).
