WinZip 10.x - Toggle Displaying Tooltips

SUMMARY: Need helpful tooltips displayed on top of your WinZip toolbar buttons? Or are you an expert user?

You can toggle displaying toolbar button description text in WinZip. However, whenever you hover your mouse pointer over toolbar buttons, tooltips - help text - pops up. While some like these descriptions of button behavior, some expert users would rather these not display.

To toggle button tooltips in WinZip:

1. Click "Options" - "Configuration".

2. When the "Configuration" multi-tabbed dialog box appears, click the "Toolbar" tab.

3. Check or uncheck "Show tooltips" as desired.

4. Click "OK" to close the dialog box.
