Windows XP and Calculator

Use Scientific Notation Everywhere

SUMMARY: Make every number use scientific notation with Windows XP's calculator.

If you frequently deal with very large or small numbers, you may notice that most calculators handle scientific notation. The Windows XP Calculator is no exception, but with this tool, you can force all numbers to use the 'E' numbers, no matter their size. Open the calculator tool and choose "Scientific" mode. Now, click the 'F-E' button on the calculator. All numbers will then be represented in scientific notation. Press the "F-E" button to toggle this feature off.
