SUMMARY: Force DOS applications running underneath Windows XP to display taking up the full-screen.
Instead of running DOS applications in Windows XP inside a window, if you need to fully concentrate on the application's results, you can run it in full-screen mode, hiding all taskbars and toolbars. To do so, just open a DOS application window and press ALT-ENTER.
Note that this tip also works for other versions of Windows including Windows 2000, Windows 98, Windows ME, and Windows 95.
Press the "print" button on your browser or select "File" - "Print" to print this tip. Then, return to Windows XP and DOS - Run a DOS Application in Full Screen
