Show Your Favorite Websites on the Start Menu SUMMARY: Quickly access Internet Explorer Favorites directly from your Windows XP Start Menu. Would you like quicker access to your favorite websites? You can perform a tweak to have the Windows XP Start Menu show a "Favorites" menu, providing you with one-click access to your favorite websites. All of this without having to start your web browser.
1. Right-click on an empty area of the taskbar, choosing "Properties".
2. When the "Taskbar and Start Menu Properties" multi-tabbed dialog box appears, select the "Start Menu" tab.
3. Click the "Customize" button.
4. The "Customize Start Menu" multi-tabbed dialog box should appear. Select the "Advanced" tab.
5. Underneath "Start menu items", check "Favorites menu".
6. Click "OK" on the dialog boxes to close them.
