Windows XP and Remote Desktop Connection - Access A Windows 2000 Machine

SUMMARY: The Windows XP Remote Desktop Connection tool can be used to access Windows 2000 machines, too.

Even though you are running Windows XP, it's easy to access a machine running Windows 2000 Terminal Server. You can access a Windows 2000 machine the same way you would access a remote Windows XP machine. Just click on the "Start" menu, choose "All Programs", "Accessories", "Communication", then "Remote Desktop Connection". From here, you can enter in the Windows 2000 computer's IP address, network address name, or you can browse your network for connections.
