When upgrading to Windows XP from Windows 98, NT 4.0, 2000, or ME, note that some of the software on your machine may fail to run in Windows XP. The Windows XP upgrade will warn you of some potential problems, such as old virus scanners or backup software. However, there may be some software that does not work with Windows XP that you only find out about after you have performed the upgrade. |
