Windows XP Upgrading
Remove Some Software
SUMMARY: Clean up your machine before upgrading it to Windows XP.
If you plan on upgrading your copy of Windows to Windows XP, be sure to get rid of any software that Upgrade Advisor warns is incompatible with Windows XP (see the previous tip in MalekTips for information on running the advisor). This is also a good time to consider removing other software packages that are used infrequently or not at all.
