Change your Username
SUMMARY: You are not stuck with your current Windows XP account name - change it!
You're not stuck with your real name or "Administrator" as your Windows XP account name; you can change your account name to just about anything you'd like.
1. Click the "Start" menu.
2. Select "Control Panel".
3. When the Control Panel appears, select "User Accounts".
4. When the "User Accounts" window appears, underneath "Or pick an account to change", click your account name.
5. Click "Change my name".
6. Enter in a new account name and click "Change Name".
Return to the Windows XP and Account Management page.
