Windows XP and Account Management - Change Your Account Picture

SUMMARY: Change the picture that appears next to your account in the Windows XP welcome screen.

Whenever you log into your Windows XP account, a picture is normally displayed next to the account names. If you'd like to personalize your Windows XP account with a picture of your choice, do the following:

1. Click the "Start" menu.

2. Select "Control Panel".

3. When the Control Panel appears, select "User Accounts".

4. When the "User Accounts" window appears, underneath "Or pick an account to change", click your account name.

5. Click "Change my picture".

6. Choose one of the available pictures and click "Change Picture". Or, click "Browse for more pictures" and use a picture of your choice.

7. Close the windows and dialog boxes when done.


 


Press the "print" button on your browser or select "File" - "Print" to print this tip. Then, return to Windows XP and Account Management - Change Your Account Picture
