Windows XP and Explorer - View Explorer Windows in Full Screen Mode

SUMMARY: Remove most of your taskbars and toolbars and view more files inside a single folder in Windows XP.

Navigating through folders on your computer, network, or removable media containing hundreds, if not thousands, of files? With the menu bar, folder status bar, and Windows XP status bar taking up room on the screen you may have to do some extra scrolling.

You can temporarily view an open Explorer folder in a full-screen mode, hiding most of these toolbars. This way you can focus on navigating among files and folders and reduce the on-screen clutter (the standard toolbar will remain). Just tap the F11 key to toggle full-screen mode.
