Windows XP and the Mouse
Make the Pointer Easier to See
SUMMARY: A Control Panel Tweak to make your Windows XP mouse easier to see.
One way you can make the mouse pointer easier to see, especially on a laptop, is by giving it trails. This way, whenever you move the mouse, copies of the pointer follow, or trail, your original pointer. To turn this on, do the following:
1. First, open Windows XP's Mouse Control Panel.
2. On the "Mouse Properties" multi-tabbed dialog box that follows, select the "Pointer Options" tab.
3. Check "Display pointer trails" and adjust the slider to either short trails or long trails.
4. When done, press "OK" to close the dialog box.
Return to the Windows XP and the Mouse page.
