Windows XP and Printers - Visiting the Manufacturer's Website

SUMMARY: A shortcut method to access your printer manufacturer's website, plus a list of common printer manufacturer website URLs.

It's good to occasionally visit your printer manufacturer's website for driver update notices, usage tips, news on upcoming printers, etc. Windows XP makes visiting the website easy.

First, login to your Internet connection. Click the "Start" menu and choose "Printers and Faxes". When the "Printers and Faxes" window appears, click on your printer. In the window's left pane, a new box should appear labeled "See Also". If "Go to manufacturer's website" appears, click it to open a connection to the manufacturer's website with your default web browser.
