SUMMARY: Give your forwarded messages a chance of being read; don't send them as e-mail attachments.

If you wish to copy a message to another person (forward the e-mail) from within Yahoo! Mail (click the "Forward" button when reading e-mail), the forwarded message is sent as a message attachment. The message body states "Note: forwarded message attached".

For many people this may be less than ideal. Many e-mail users are wary of e-mail attachments, even forwarded messages, and may not read the message's contents. 2. Underneath "Mail Options", click "General Preferences".

3. Underneath "Message Actions", next to "Forwarding Messages", click the "Forward as inline text" radio button.

4. Click "Save" to save your settings.
