Flag / Mark Certain E-Mail as Important

SUMMARY: Make important e-mail in your Yahoo! Mail Inbox stand out from the rest.

If you have dozens, perhaps hundreds, of e-mail messages in your Yahoo! Mail Inbox or another folder, it can become very difficult to determine whether or not a particular message is important. Luckily, you can flag individual messages to remind you to look at them later.

1. Inside a mail folder (such as Inbox) check the messages you want flagged.

2. Click the "Mark" button and choose "Flag for Follow Up".

3. The mail folder will refresh and a flag will appear next to the message(s) you flagged as important.

Later, after dealing with the important messages, you can clear their flags. Follow step 1 above, then click the "Mark" button and choose "Clear Flag".
