Yahoo Search - Define a Word

Instead of reaching for a dictionary or visiting a dictionary web site, if you need to define a word, use Yahoo! Search. Just enter your query in the following format:

define WORD

For example:

define pseudonym

define terabyte

If Yahoo! Search finds a match in its dictionary resources, the first result on the search results page will be the word's definition with a hyperlink to a more detailed definition on the dictionary page.
